MS1 and MS2
In MS1 and MS2-extra codes there is a configuration check that is carried out every time the ECU powers up. If the code see's one output pin used for 2 functions (e.g. D14 for a spark output and a programmable output) or more than one mode selected in the code base, etc, it will go into a configuration error mode. The error is highlighted by pulsing the fuel pump on-off-on-off-on....... (in MS2 the rpm will also show 65000 in MegaTune or Tuner Studio)
To find out where the error is in the configuration you need to connect your laptop to the ECU and run MegaTune or Tuner Studio.
Select Communication - Mini Terminal , you will have a white box appear.
Next turn the MS ECU on with this box on the screen (So first run MegaTune, get the mini terminal up, then turn the ignition on) the reason for the error will appear on the screen.Fix the error and turn the power off to the MS ECU. Turn the power back on and the ECU should behave normally again.
If you have this issue and can't cure it, email me the msq file with the error message shown in the mini-terminal and I will alter the msq file for you to re-burn it to your ECU.
