Plug-n-Play ECUs
(DIYPnP
)

For other applications or for
non Plug-n-Play ECU's see HERE

Some OEM's use a style of plug that we can get hold of. This means we can offer a Plug-n-Play ECU (PnP) to vehicles with these types of connector. (currently 5 styles available)
It will still need tuning, exactly the same as all the other ECUs we sell, but it means you don't need to cut into the loom or make a connector yourself (using an old ECU) as some people do.

So on a normal package (Not PnP) you would need to find the wire for the coolant sensor, air temp, etc, and connect that to the loom I supply in the kit. Once it's all wired up your ready to start tuning. Whilst this isn't hard to do, some people don't fancy doing it. Other options people do is to get an old ECU and remove the connector from it and simply solder the loom I supply directly to the pins of the old ECU, so it becomes a Plug-n-Play but on a DIY style.

The DIYPnP stuff doesn't need to be supplied with a loom as it simply plugs into where the OEM ECU was. Connect up the MAP sensor (built into the DIY PnP) with some suitable tubing and start tuning. So no wiring to be done, or very little.
There are a few conditions.

The DIYPnP is limited to the style of plug your car has, so check for compatability. If your car isn't in the list then don't worry, you will just need to either cut into your loom, make a new one with the wiring I supply or make a connector using your OEM ECU with one of my standard MS1 or MS2 ECU packages available HERE

Basically theDIY PnP ECU is a MicroSquirt (small MS2 ECU), with the MS2-Extra code, so it has all the Standard Features of my standard MS2 ECUs.
The MicroSquirt is mounted to an I/O Board, which allows it to have all of the same Optional Extras of mystandard MS2 ECUs.
Then there is a Connector Board which brings all the I/O to a suitable plug for your OEM wiring loom.

Standard Features of the MS2-Extra code

# 16x16 fuel tables (Manifold Absolute Pressure x RPM or Throttle Position x RPM)
# 12x12 spark tables (Manifold Absolute Pressure x RPM or Throttle Position x RPM for ITB's, etc.)
# Rev limiter (Retards ignition then round robin spark cut or fuel cut or both)
# Overboost protection (Round robin spark cut or fuel cut or both)
# 12x12 Mappable Air:Fuel Ratio targets (For use with a wideband lambda Sensor)
# WideBand or Narrow Band Lambda Sensor compatability
# Coolant temperature related ignition timing advance (helps speed up idle during warmup period)
# Inlet Air temperature related ignition timing retard (helps prevent detonation due to excess heat soak)
# Manifold Absolute Pressure rate of change or Throttle Position Sensor rate of change acceleration enrichment
# Overrun fuel cut (Reduces fuel usage by cutting fuel during overrun)
# Hybrid Alpha-N (For very lumpy cams, ITB's, massive throttle bodies, running boost.)
# Staged Injection (Ideal for 2 different sized injectors e.g. Rotary's)
# Built in Air Density Correction (Using Manifold Air Temperature Sensor)
# PWM Idle Control valves ( For use with 2 or 3 wired variable valves)
# Stepper Motor Idle Control Valves (For use with 4 wired stepper motor valves)
# Fuel and Ignition or Fuel Only or Ignition Only

Optional Extra's for all my ECUs

# Nitrous control
# Dual wheel decoder/2nd trigger input
# 400KPa (38PSI) MAP sensor
# Switchable map tables for Fuel or Spark or both
# Boost control
(Closed loop is Experimental code)
# Dual EGO sensor support
# Shift / Warning Lights
# Launch Control / Flat shift
# Real-time Barometric Correction
# up to 4 programmable Outputs
# Knock sensor input
# Tacho Output

There are a few conditions to this, as I simply don't know all of the wiring schematics for all the available cars!!
So with that in mind, I need you to supply me with the wiring diagrams for your setup. Once you have confirmed that the diagram you supply is the same as your setup I will wire the PnP ECU as per your supplied diagram.
