All the ECUs I sell include the following as standard:

# 1 year, return to base, warranty see here for details.

# A wiring loom (approx. 1 meter long) with a high quality screened cable for the trigger signal, a 1.0mm ignition supply cable and a 4mm ground cable. This ensures the ECU gets a good electrical connection helping to eliminate potential noise!

# ECU's that have more than 2 Spark Coil Outputs have a DB15 connector added to the front of the ECU specifically for supplying the Spark Coil Outputs, this ensures that the circuits earthing point and connectors are more than capable of the extra current needed for driving multiple coils. These setups also have a separate loom for the spark coil outputs, allowing complete separation and ease of installation.

# The supplied loom wires are bare ended ready for you to wire to your setups connectors. Each wire has a label with its description on it and they are all colour coded for making wiring easier, this all corresponds to the wiring diagram on the free CD. See HERE for a picture of the loom.

# They are also fitted with a High Powered Idle Valve Output Transistor, capable of supplying more than 3 Amps, giving it the ability to directly drive idle control valves, such as the 3 or 2 wired Bosch units or the Ford items, etc. This means you do NOT need to purchase a Relay Board for a standard install!! The original MS idle output transistor simply isn't up to the job of controlling anything other than a relay. The ECU's I supply can directly control the idle valve! See HERE for more info.

# I endeavor to set up a base configuration file for your engine from the information you let me have, this helps you get running a lot quicker

# I will setup the ECU and include the files needed to use your standard equipment temperature sensors if you can tell me some resistance values from the sensors.

# The CD will include a general wiring diagram showing what sensors the supplied loom needs to connect to on your engine.

# A communications lead (RS232) for connection to your computer/laptop.

# A free CD (Download it HERE if you wish) with:

* MS-Extra Software / Hardware manuals
* MegaTune (the main tuning software) setup for the MS-Extra code
* MSLVV (Datalog viewing software)
* EasyTherm (temperature sensor configuration software)
* Drawing of suggested layouts corresponding to the wiring loom.
* Instructions for software installation, temperature sensor help files.
* The relevant firmware, etc, etc

# All ECU's are built by myself (a fully qualified Electronics Engineer with over 25 years of experience), this ensures I can maintain a very high quality. Each ECU is tested on my unique test bed, the same one the MS1-Extra code was developed on, under various simulated engine conditions. Next, each ECU is soak tested (run continuously) under load for a minimum of 12Hrs. The ECU is then tested again before it is coated with a conformal coating to protect it. Here is a LINK to a small video of an ECU under test.

#All my ECU's use either the latest V3.0 PCB and some are the V3.57 PCB, which are an improvement over the earlier V2.2:

These ARE included in the ECU package prices, so you do NOT need to order one if you buy an ECU from me.
But if you need a wiring loom for your MegaSquirt ECU, then these are supplied with bare ended wires ready for you to wire to your setups connectors. The looms are approx. 1 meter long with a high quality screened cable for the trigger signal, a 1.0mm ignition supply cable and a 4mm ground cable. This ensures the ECU gets a good electrical connection helping to eliminate potential noise! Each wire is colour coded and has a label with its description on it. As the wiring looms are made to your setup requirements, please contact me with all your details before ordering.

If your engine doesn't have both temperature sensors then it is possible to use a sensor from a scrap yard. But some people like to use the original MegaSquirt sensors as the MS ECU and the tuning sofware is already setup for these. I can, however, setup your ECU for your sensors or for sensors you have obtained, just supply me with 3 resistances from your sensors (see here)

Innovate LC-1 WideBand Lambda Sensor and Controller £140
A WideBand lambda sensor, including controller, the weldable bung and the software!

(i.e. All thats needed to get up and running!!)

A Narrowband sensor will only show you if your rich or lean of stoichiometric (14.7AFR),
where as a WideBand sensor will show the exact Air:Fuel Ratio (AFR) for tuning your engine.
If you have a boosted engine then a wideband lambda sensor is a must for DIY tuning. It is really an essential tool for getting the very best performance from your engine whether NA or Boosted. These are compatable with the MS ECU, the precise Air:Fuel ratio can be seen in datalogs and in the MegaSquirt tuning software, enabling accurate tuning. The Lambda sensor fits into the standard narrow band lambda bung, but it has a bung that can be welded in as part of the kit if you dont have one. It also includes a plug that can be screwed into the bung after tuning. This means you can remove the sensor once you've finished tuning and use it on another project.

USB - RS232 Adaptor £25

Having tested lots of these adaptors I have found this type works fine on various laptops with
